Accord Research expands the team, February 1, 2016

Accord Research celebrated 1st February 2016 with an important milestone in the company‘s history. Accord significantly strengthened its capabilities in clinical operations, biometrics and pharmacovigilance by hiring senior managers into positions of Head of Biometrics, Head of Pharmacovigilance and Project Directors.

At the same time  pharmacovigilance, biometrics and clinical operations teams have been strengthened by hiring additional experienced data managers, statisticians, pharmacovigilance officers and project managers with strong therapeutic backgrounds particularly in oncology, to work with our existing clinical trial teams.

This controlled growth, expands the Accord team by 14 extra senior experienced people. Always promoted as a full service CRO, our cross-functional capabilities are now ‚in-house‘ which makes the company unique among mid-sized European CRO companies.

Accord Research in PragueOnco 2016, January 27-29, 2016

Accord Research representatives will be attending the PragueOnco 2016 conference to be held in Prague on 27th – 29th January.  Along with representatives from our sister company, SOTIO a.s., we will be participating in meetings with key opinion leaders and investigators from oncology studies - our major therapy area of expertise.

Accord Research training seminar, Beijing, November 25, 2015

On 25th November 2015 Accord Research organized a training seminar at Hotel St.Regis Beijing, China, on the topic of ‘Chinese Pharmaceutical Products in Europe’. The seminar focused on regulatory and marketing aspects of Chinese pharmaceutical products, which are intended to be registered in the EU. In parallel, there was a seminar conducted by SUKL that focused on aspects of Good Manufacturing Practice.  In addition to the Accord-Research speakers, Petr Janda, Ales Horacek and Marietta Tesarova, Dr. Pieter Guelen attended as an invited speaker and gave a comprehensive overview of relevant associated marketing aspects.  Dr.Tomas Boran from SUKL presented a complex overview of regulatory aspects of Chinese Pharmaceutical Products in EU and Dr.Ludek Bazant gave a presentation of his area of expertise - Phase I and bioequivalence studies. It was felt this, extremely well received, seminar was held at the right time given the increased interest in innovative drug development in China. Local pharmaceutical companies would do submissions to both the FDA and EMA for approval. The seminar lead to intensive discussion and interest.

Czech-China Association of CROs, Beijing, November 24, 2015

On 24th November 2015 in Beijing, China the first constitutive meeting of the Czech-China CRO association (CCACRO) was held. Accord Research representatives presented goals and legal aspects of CCACRO and discussed with Chinese CRO representatives the purpose, meaning and distinct advantages of this association. There was unified consent about the importance of Czech-China cooperation in the field of CROs and Dr. Petr Janda was delegated to lead preparatory activities in the formation of the association and strategic direction.
